POLICY ON HEALTH AND SAFETY

IPS believes that Health & Safety are the first priority in all areas of work and that job related injuries and illnesses are unacceptable. IPS will therefore;

  1. Ensure that our managers and site supervisors are committed to creating a culture that will make Health & Safety an integral part of shot and long term operations and all performance management system;
  2. Ensure that our employees understand and accept Health & Safety Policies and procedures as a fundamental part of the business; • Wherever appropriate and feasible, set operating standards that exceed any relevant laws and regulations;
  3. Incorporate Health & Safety Policies and procedures into all newly employees and enforce them; • Provide all the employees with the necessary training and equipment to carry out their work in Safe & Healthy manners;
  4. Identify measurable objective and targets that will drive the continuous improvement necessary to pursue an injury-free workplace; • Ensure that our employees acquire the necessary PPE prior to commencement of work;
  5. Regular Test, Health & Safety Systems and procedures and emergency response system to ensure their effectiveness; • Regular review, audit Health & Safety system, procedures and performance; and
  6. Report our Health & Safety performance.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY STATEMENT

IPS undertakes its activities in a manner that strives to minimize or rectify adverse impacts and maximize positive impact of an environmental or social-economic nature. The company is committed to responsible stewardship of natural resources and the ecological environment for present and future generations. To attain the overall vision, the company is committed to;

  1. The assessment and meeting of the requirements of industry standards with respect to environmental management practices;
  2. The implementation, maintenance and integration of internationally recognized environmental management systems that ensure continual improvement of environmental performance and the prevention of pollution through recognized practices;
  3. Complying with applicable legal requirements and with other requirements to which the organization subscribes, that relate to its environmental aspects;
  4. Efficient use of resources and responsible management of all waste streams; and
  5. Establishing an appropriate level of awareness and training of employees with environmental responsibilities as required.
